Protect is the UK's whistleblowing charity. We aim to stop harm by encouraging safe whistleblowing. We run a free, confidential advice line for workers with whistleblowing dilemmas, train and support organisations with their whistleblowing arrangements, undertake research, inform public policy and campaign for legislative reform.
 
Since 1993, we have supported 50,000 cases, and our advice line supports almost 3,000 cases each year. We also support organisations to instil best practice speak up arrangments. Protect is lobbying for legal reform of the Public Interest Disclosure Act 1998 and has drafted new whistleblowing legislation.
