The Centre for Free Expression is hosting the 2nd in the CFE Series: Why Whistleblowers Matter, Bob Stenhouse: A cop’s cop - until he blew the whistle on the RCMP, featuring Bob Stenhouse In conversation with James L. Turk.

When: Wednesday 25 May, 2022. 8:00pm (EDT)
Where: Online. Free, no registration required.

Bob Stenhouse was one of the RCMP’s brightest stars and one of the top undercover specialists in Western Canada, investigating biker gangs. Troubled by the RCMP’s administrative bureaucracy, silo and turf protection, myopic and destructive leadership, ineffective strategies, and police propaganda, Bob released RCMP documents as background to an investigative journalist who published them without authorization. Bob was fired but reinstated by the Federal Court of Canada. He then quietly resigned.

Join Bob in conversation with CFE Director, James L. Turk about what happened, why sharing with the public matters, and what can be done to protect whistleblowers.
