The member states of the European Union are obliged to essentially implement the provisions of the Whistleblowing Directive by December 17, 2021. Implementation will pose challenges, especially for countries like Germany, but will also present various possibilities for improving the current whistleblowing law and its practical application.
The European Conference on Whistleblowing Legislation will offer scientists, practitioners and political decision-makers from all over Europe a forum on the future development of whistleblowing law and its practical aspects to discuss the application and thus to create the basis for a legally and empirically sound implementation of the guideline.
