Whistleblowing for Change: The Social and Economic Costs and Benefits of Leaking and Whistleblowing (2008)
This detailed study examines whistleblowing and leaking in eight countries. It asks whistleblowing experts from civil society key questions regarding whistleblowing definitions, and the parameters of protections during the period of cross border collaboration and campaigning for the EU Directive on whistleblowing. The author also interviewed whistleblowers, asking them to detail their individual experiences, as well as other key actors including investigative journalists, compliance professionals and lawyers.
