About: Join us for an event to mark Global Ethics Day 2025, where we explore what it means to lead with integrity in a rapidly evolving professional landscape. This year’s theme, “Ethics Re-envisioned,” challenges us to think boldly about how we embed ethical principles into the heart of our organisations.

This event brings together thought leaders, policy influencers and fellow chartered accountants to examine the profession’s role in shaping an ethics-first culture - both within our teams and across the wider business ecosystem.

You will leave the afternoon with practical strategies to lead with ethics in complex, high-stakes situations, the tools to foster a culture of accountability and trust in your organisation and a renewed sense of purpose in your role as a steward of ethical business.

14:00-14:55 Panel discussion: Standing one’s ground: the role of Speak Up and Whistleblowing
Session chair: Brendan Weekes (S&W)
Panellists: Neil Swift (Peter & Peters Solicitors LLP); Kate Caulkin (National Audit Office); Anna Myers (Whistleblowing International Network); Katherine Bradshaw (Gowpen).

This session will explore the role and mindset required of a professional accountant and complying with the NOCLAR obligation.
