To fight corruption, the Maltese government must start protecting those who are exposing this corruption instead of continuing to protect those who are carrying it out. A law that protects whistleblowers is important to help those who want to do their duty and uncover crime.
In Malta, this law exists but it has too many problems, so much so that it is not working as it should. Together with the Whistleblowing International Network (WIN), Repubblika has prepared a set of proposals on how Malta can improve this law.
