Transparency International Slovenia is hosting its 6th annual Business Integrity and Transparency Forum, as part of the International Fraud Awareness Week.

When: Thursday 18 November 2021, 9:00 am (CET)
Where: Online, Register here by 16 November 2021
Fee: €30 per participant

The event will be held in English. Simultaneous translation will not be provided.

This year’s event is dedicated to challenges and solutions related to whistleblower protection systems in organisations.

These will be presented in a panel discussion with Forum partners and experts in the field of whistleblower protection from Slovenia and abroad. The aim of the discussion is to highlight the possibilities for more effective protection of whistleblowers in the workplace, which can significantly contribute to a higher level of integrity in organisations and to the prevention of corruption and fraud.

The EU Whistleblower Directive must be transposed by Member States by 17 December 2021. Organisations are already preparing for the new obligations and standards, and the Forum will discuss concrete solutions. We will present both technical and other solutions that can help to make protection mechanisms work, and create a whistleblowing culture.
