International Women’s Rights Committee of the New York Women’s Bar Association presents: Whistleblowing: A Human Rights Perspective. 

This discussion will examine the role of domestic and international whistleblowing laws in the protection, promotion, and support of human rights and civil society.

Speakers:

Samantha Feinstein, 
 Attorney & Deputy Director, Government Accountability Project (WIN Member), will discuss the gendered differences in whistleblowing. 

Mary Inman, Partner, Constantine Cannon, will speak generally on the extraterritorial reach of US whistleblower programs.

Poppy Alexander,  Associate, Constantine Cannon,  will address specific cases she has handled that have a strong human rights angle.

Greg Krakower, Adj. Law Profressor. Cardozo Law School, drafted the New York False Claims Act, will be speaking from a governmental perspective.
