The Library of Congress - the national research library of the United States and Congress - is holding an event entitled "Whistleblowing in Historical Context: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly" at the John W. Kluge Centre in Washington DC.

A moderated discussion will look at the history of the concept of whistleblowing and incentives to whistleblowing, with examples drawn from multiple fields.

The panel features two Academics - Professor Alison Stanger (Middlebury College) and Professor Carl Elliott (University of Minnesota) as well as Emilia DiSanto, former Deputy Inspector General to the U.S. Department of State and Chief Investigative Counsel and Special Counsel to the Senate Committee on Finance.

The discussion is followed by a reception – you can find more details and register for free tickets here.
