WIN member, the Centre for Free Expression, is accepting nominations for the 2022 Code of Silence Award for Outstanding Achievement in Government Secrecy. This award calls public attention to government departments and agencies that make it difficult for the public to have access to government information to which they have a right.
Four awards are given annually to the most secretive government or public agency at federal, provincial, and municipal levels and to the most secretive police service.
Please consider making a nomination of any government, government department, or agency that is not fulfilling its obligations in a proper manner. To make a nomination please complete the nomination form. Also please share this call for nominations through your social media networks as well as with anyone else that you think may be interested. More information and nomination forms are available on the CFE website here.
