About: Every year, high-profile cases come to light thanks to unprecedented revelations from whistleblowers and investigative work by journalists. To highlight this collaboration, which is essential to democracy, the Maison des Lanceurs d'Alerte (Whistleblowers' House) launched the “Alerte à la Une” (Whistleblowing to Investigation, Journalism Award) Award in 2023.
For this edition, twenty-two investigations, touching on fields as varied as ecology, corruption or health, among others, were preselected by a jury made up of representatives from several organisations: the Free Press Fund, the National Union of Journalists, the SNJ-CGT, the CFDT Journalists, The Signals Network and the International Federation of Journalists. These surveys were chosen for their rigour, their impact and because they respect the spirit of the Whistleblowing to Investigation, Journalism Award, in accordance with regulations.
