On the 29th of June the final report of the inquiry on how the European Parliament and Council Directive (EU) 2019/1937 on the protection of persons who report breaches of Union law otherwise known as the 'EU Directive on Whistleblowing' should be implemented in Swedish law was presented.

The final report proposes new supplementary legislation that applies to both the public and private sectors. Requirements for internal reporting channels are proposed for all employers with more than fifty employees – both companies and municipalities. TI Sweden is hosting a webinar to discuss the final report with the participation of both the chair of the inquiry, Inga-Lill Askersjö and the chief secretary, Per Larsson.

The webinar will be held on the 20 August 2020, 15:00-1600 CEST via Zoom.
